Adenosine is extensively utilized in myocardial stress perfusion imaging for the detection and risk stratification of coronary artery disease. It has a well-established safety profile. The majority of the undesirable effects experienced during adenosine infusion are transient (owing to its brief half-life of ~10 s) and arise from the stimulation of receptors in the atrio-ventricular (AV) node (AV block) and bronchial smooth muscles (bronchospasm).

This case report discusses a unique presentation of an artery of Percheron (AOP) infarct resulting in rapidly resolving internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) without classical signs. This is the case of a 70-year-old male patient who presented to a community Emergency Department following acute code stroke activation. Physical exam and imaging studies including non-contrast CT, CT angiography, CT perfusion, and MRI were performed.

While CAD-associated venous thromboembolism is recognized, its role in arterial thromboembolic events, particularly ischemic stroke, is poorly defined. We report an 84-year-old woman who developed acute onset upper left extremity weakness following exposure to sub-zero temperatures.

Primary intracranial sarcomas constitute a rare group of tumors, with the most common types described in the literature being chondrosarcoma and fibrosarcoma. Dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLS) is a high-grade sarcoma that sometimes metastasizes to the brain. However, a primary intracranial DDLS is exceedingly rare.
