[Foreign bodies of the ear].

The paper presents practical aspects of diagnosis and management of foreign bodies found in the ear. Methodological approaches of medical aid to patients with foreign bodies in the ear are described. It is shown that such foreign bodies can provoke severe complications. The authors have developed a convenient classification which enables valid assessment of the clinical situation and facilitates a choice of the adequate therapeutic policy.
