Background: Excisional hemorrhoidectomy and stapled hemorrhoidopexy are 2 common procedures for treating symptomatic hemorrhoids. However, concerns persist regarding the risk of postoperative complications and their unclear prevalence in the literature. This systematic review aims to evaluate and compare the prevalence of incontinence after stapled hemorrhoidopexy and excisional hemorrhoidectomy.

Purpose: The primary objective of this retrospective study was to evaluate the survival outcomes of immediately loaded acrylic resin complete arch fixed implant-supported prosthesis (CAFIP) fabricated from the denture conversion protocol. The secondary objective was to evaluate the early implant survival outcomes associated with these prostheses.
Material And Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted to study the clinical outcomes data of immediately loaded conversion prostheses and immediately loaded implants.

Purpose: To evaluate the intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering effect and success rate of Paul glaucoma implant (PGI) in refractory glaucoma after changing practice pattern from Ahmed and Baerveldt tubes to PGI.
Methods: A prospective observational study of the first 50 consecutive PGI surgeries at a single Danish tertiary centre from January 2022 to October 2023. Primary endpoints were IOP and success rates after 12 months.

Background: In sinonasal cancer (SNC), treatment with proton therapy (PT) provides excellent local control, especially after gross total resection. Because of the heterogeneity and rarity of this disease site, a comprehensive assessment of toxicity, survival, and control rates is lacking. Our primary objective was to assess the toxicity outcomes of PT in SNC patients, with a secondary aim of assessing survival and tumor control after PT.

Purpose: To report the radiological outcomes and complications of the Masquelet induced membrane technique (IMT) for acute bone reconstruction in complex hand injuries.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 22 patients treated primarily by the IMT for bone defect of the phalanx and/or metacarpals bones in 26 injured digits. The median bone defect length was 17 mm (IQR 13-25).
