Treatment options for patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) have increased in the era of targeted therapies such as brentuximab vedotin (BV) and Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) inhibitors. However, there is no standard treatment and limited published data evaluating their use. The goal of this retrospective study is to describe current real-world treatment and outcomes of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients with R/R ALK-positive ALCL.

The deposition of alkali metals on oxide surfaces has garnered significant interest due to their critical role in enhancing various catalytic processes. However, the atomic-scale characterization of these structures remains elusive, owing to the complex and competing interactions among the oxygen, the alkali metals, and the metal atoms within the oxides. In this work, we grew alkali metals (Na, K, Cs) on the copper oxide films on the Cu(111) surface and found the formation of hexagonally ordered monolayer films.

Although hospitals successfully achieving Magnet® designation demonstrate a multitude of positive outcomes, initial certification and maintenance require support from a highly engaged team. Two healthcare facilities used a team of master's-prepared nurses including the clinical nurse specialist, clinical nurse leader, and nursing professional development practitioner to strengthen a culture of nursing excellence, resulting in a successful redesignation cycle and the need for nurse executives to evaluate supportive nursing roles in acute care settings.

: several adverse effects of ozone (O) and nitrogen dioxide (NO) are assessed using combined oxidant capacity (O) and redox-weighted oxidant capacity (Owtx) as surrogates. However, the associations of oxidant capacity (O and Owtx) with platelet-based inflammatory indicators and the potential modifying role of physical activity (PA) remain unclear. : 31 318 participants were selected from the baseline survey of the Henan Rural Cohort Study.

Human-induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) technology has been applied in pathogenesis studies, drug screening, tissue engineering, and stem cell therapy, and patient-specific hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs) have shown promise in disease modeling, including diabetic cardiomyopathy. High glucose (HG) treatment induces lipotoxicity in hiPSC-CMs, as evidenced by changes in cell size, beating rate, calcium handling, and lipid accumulation. Empagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, effectively mitigates the hypertrophic changes, abnormal calcium handling, and contractility impairment induced by HG.
