In the realm of cardiovascular care, the quest for innovative and holistic approaches to enhance patient outcomes persists. This study analyzes osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and its potential impact on pain intensity, length of hospitalization, respiratory function, and hemodynamic response in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). OMT, with its emphasis on physical manipulation of the body's muscles and tissues, presents a potential treatment beyond the realms of conventional post-operative care.

Acute limb ischemia due to limb-graft occlusion (LGO) after fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair (FEVAR) and acute bypass graft occlusion with an ePTFE graft pose critical challenges, necessitating prompt intervention to prevent limb loss. This paper discusses two cases of acute limb ischemia treated with a hybrid approach using the AngioJet™ Ultra Thrombectomy System as an adjunct to Fogarty thrombectomy. Case I involved a 69-year-old male post-FEVAR with contralateral iliac limb graft occlusion of the fenestrated Anaconda™, while Case II featured a 70-year-old male (ASA IV) post-bypass surgery (iliopopliteal arterial bypass with ePTFE Graft) with acute bypass graft occlusion.

Objective: Long-term outcomes for harvesting techniques for great saphenous vein (GSV) and its impact on the outcomes of infrainguinal arterial bypass remains largely unknown. Endoscopic GSV harvesting (EVH) has emerged as a less invasive alternative to conventional open techniques. Using the Vascular Quality initiative Vascular Implant Surveillance & Interventional Outcomes Network (VQI-VISION) database, we compared the long-term outcomes of infrainguinal arterial bypass using open and endoscopic GSV harvest techniques.

How brain functions in the distorted ischemic state before and after reperfusion is unclear. It is also uncertain whether there are any indicators within ischemic brain that could predict surgical outcomes. To alleviate these issues, we applied individual brain connectome in chronic steno-occlusive vasculopathy (CSOV) to map both ischemic symptoms and their postbypass changes.

Intracranial hemorrhage is the leading cause of neurological deficits and poor prognosis in adult patients with Moyamoya disease (MMD). Intracranial hemorrhage is occasionally accompanied by MMD-associated aneurysm and requires additional treatment. To date, direct or indirect bypass surgery or endovascular treatment, such as coil embolization, has been adopted and has achieved successful outcomes.
