The objective of this retrospective, database study was to characterize the rate, magnitude and timeline of increases in parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels post-denosumab (DMAb) vs. zoledronic acid (ZA) injection in patients with osteoporosis and near normal baseline PTH. Large-scale engineering projects frequently involve pit excavation and wetland landfill operations, resulting in significant silt accumulation that occupies land and adversely affects the environment. Curing technology offers a solution for reusing this waste silt. In this study, straw ash and calcium carbide slag are proposed as effective curing agents for silt soil.

Yeast formulations such as dry yeast are essential for supplying microbial starters to the alcoholic beverage industry. In Korea, the expensive freeze-drying method is used to manufacture brewer's dry yeast, and therefore an economical process such as fluidized bed drying is needed. In the dry yeast manufacturing process, the medium and drying conditions are key factors that determine its quality and manufacturing cost.
