How individuals perceive and cope with stressful situations may determine their level of anxiety or depression. The identification of coping strategies (CS) in pregnancy could help prevent depression and anxiety (D&A), and their consequent effects on the health of the mother and the baby. A cross-sectional descriptive correlational study was conducted to identify the CS most commonly used by pregnant women in a Spanish population and to evaluate the association of these CS with D&A.

Background: Healthcare curricula need summative assessments relevant to and representative of clinical situations to best select and train learners. Simulation provides multiple benefits with a growing literature base proving its utility for training in a formative context. Advancing to the next step, "the use of simulation for summative assessment" requires rigorous and evidence-based development because any summative assessment is high stakes for participants, trainers, and programs.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in Turkey. The current guidelines do not provide sufficient information to cover all aspects of the management of rectal cancer. Although treatment has been standardized in terms of the basic principles of neoadjuvant, surgical, and adjuvant therapy, uncertainties in the management of rectal cancer may lead to significant differences in clinical practice.

Background: After long-term analysis of the JALSG-APL204 study we recently reported that maintenance therapy with tamibarotene was more effective than all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) by reducing relapse in APL patients. Here, the clinical significance of other important prognostic factors was evaluated with multivariate analyses.
Patients And Methods: Newly diagnosed acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) patients were registered with the study.
