Background: Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is characterised by a severe hypersensitivity reaction to Aspergillus species. Current treatment relies on oral corticosteroids (OCS) and triazole antifungal therapy, but there is increasing evidence of the benefits of biologic therapies targeting type 2 inflammatory pathways.
Objective: To assess the real-world effectiveness of biologic therapies in patients with ABPA.

Introduction: Although breastfeeding can protect against a variety of childhood illnesses, rates of breastfeeding are low across the USA and are lowest among ethnic minorities. Here, we aimed to explore the relationships between race, socioeconomic status (SES), and the impacts of breastfeeding on common childhood illnesses.
Methods: Subjects were recruited from a university-affiliated health system in Southwest Michigan.

Background: Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is a heterogeneous condition with varying response to prone positioning. We aimed to identify subphenotypes of ARDS patients undergoing prone positioning using machine learning and assess their association with mortality and response to prone positioning.
Methods: In this retrospective observational study, we enrolled 353 mechanically ventilated ARDS patients who underwent at least one prone positioning cycle.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the risk factors for severe radiation pneumonitis (RP) after thoracic radiotherapy (RT) in patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), develop a prediction model to identify high-risk groups, and investigate the impact of severe RP on overall survival (OS).
Methods: We retrospectively collected clinical, dosimetric, and hematological factors of patients with stage III NSCLC receiving thoracic RT without immunotherapy. The primary and secondary end points were severe RP and OS, respectively.
