A supported liquid membrane technique was used for the extraction and enrichment of propofol in a spiked sample of urine. An acidic solution of propofol and thymol as an internal standard was passed over the membrane and after enrichment the acceptor solution was analyzed by LC with an electrochemical detector. The acceptor and donor pH, flow-rate, and volume of donor and different membrane solvents were varied to optimize the extraction efficiency. The detection limit for 100 ml of a spiked urine sample was 10 ppt of propofol.

This paper presents a comprehensive dataset of mid-infrared spectra for dried and roasted cocoa beans ( L.), along with their corresponding theobromine and caffeine content. Infrared data were acquired using Attenuated Total Reflectance-Fourier Transform Infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy, while High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) was employed to accurately quantify theobromine and caffeine in the dried cocoa beans.

Phosphorothioate (PS) modifications in single-guided RNA (sgRNA) are crucial for genome editing applications using the CRISPR/Cas9 system. These modifications may enhance sgRNA stability, pharmacokinetics, and binding to targets, thereby facilitating the desired genetic alterations. Incorporating multiple PS groups at varying positions may introduce chiral centers into the sgRNA backbone, resulting in a complex mixture of constitutional- and stereoisomers that challenges current analytical capabilities for reliable identification and quantification.

Purpose: The primary objectives of this trial were aimed at exploring the pharmacokinetic profiles and the human bioequivalence of an intravenous liposomal injection of doxorubicin hydrochloride in comparison with a reference formulation in Chinese patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
Methods: To achieve these goals, the trial employed a randomized, open-label, two-formulation crossover dosing strategy among Chinese patients with metastatic breast cancer. Pharmacokinetic (PK) evaluation was conducted through the collection of blood samples, and the liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) method was leveraged to quantify plasma concentrations of both liposome-encapsulated doxorubicin and non-encapsulated doxorubicin in patients.

Growing emission of environmentally-hazardous greenhouse pollutants (especially CO) has motivated the researchers to apply gas-liquid membrane contactors as an easy-to-operate and cost-effective technique for increasing their separation efficiency from different sources. In the current decades, ionic liquids (ILs) have shown their potential in the gas separation industry owing to their noteworthy advantages such as great capacity, excellent adjustability and suitable thermal/chemical stability compared to commonly-employed amine absorbents. This investigation aims to analytically/numerically determine the separation yield of CO from CO₂/N gaseous flow using novel -Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide ([emim][CN]) IL inside the gas-liquid contactor.

Regulating favorable assemblies of metallic atoms in the liquid state provides promise for catalyzing various chemical reactions. Expanding the selection of metallic solvents, especially those with unique properties and low cost, enables access to distinctive fluidic atomic structures on the surface of liquid alloys and offers economic feasibility. Here, Sn solvent, as a low-cost commodity, supports unique atomic assemblies at the interface of molten SnInCu, which are highly selective for H synthesis from hydrocarbons.
