Anatomically the female pelvis because of its reproductive function is broader than that of the male. The female, being genetically shorter than the male, has a shorter femur which, combined with the broad pelvis, results in a comparatively smaller collo-diaphyseal angle than the male. When relevant literature was reviewed mixed results were seen which appear to have been settled by this study. By the adoption of anatomical landmarks for measuring the angle as against the conventional methods this study guarantees comparable results.

Introduction: Treatment failure remains a challenge in young femoral neck fractures treated with triple cannulated screws (TCS). This study aims to identify novel radiological parameters that can predict treatment failure and propose surgical techniques to enhance the success of TCS or aid in selecting alternative methods.
Patients And Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 87 patients who underwent surgery for femoral neck fractures between February 2014 and June 2022, meeting the inclusion criteria.

Introduction: Proximal femoral nailing for intertrochanteric femur fracture is sometimes a challenging procedure without a traction table, especially if complicated fracture pattern. We aimed to overcome this difficulty with the hook.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective study of 60 patients.

Introduction: While long bone fractures are commonly seen in individuals with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), femoral neck fractures (FNF) are exceedingly rare. There is a lack of comprehensive data regarding the etiology of FNFs, their characteristics, and the treatment protocols. Our aim was to determine the characteristics of femoral neck fractures in children with OI.

The acquisition of habitual bipedal locomotion, which resulted in numerous modifications of the skeleton was a crucial step in hominid evolution. However, our understanding of the inherited skeletal modifications versus those acquired while learning to walk remains limited. We here present data derived from X-rays and CT scans of quadrupedal adult humans and compare the morphology of the vertebral column, pelvis and femur to that of a bipedal brother.

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY The intertrochanteric femur fractures seen in the elderly population are usually treated surgically. Mechanical failure of this treatment is a serious complication and to prevent this, many assessment factors have been described such as tip-apex distance, reduction quality etc. The aim of this study is to evaluate the intra- and inter-observer reliability of modifiable factors evaluated after the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures.
