The development of neuroimaging has allowed clinicians to improve clinicoanatomic correlations in patients with strokes. Brainstem and cerebellum structures are well delineated on MRI, but there is a lack of standardization in their arterial supply. We present a system of 12 brainstem and cerebellum axial sections, depicting the dominant arterial territories and the most important anatomic structures. These sections may be used as a practical tool to determine arterial territories on MRI, and may help establish consistent clinicoanatomic correlations in patients with brainstem and cerebellar ischemic strokes.

BACKGROUND Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a minimally invasive procedure increasingly used to treat severe aortic stenosis, especially in elderly patients and those with significant comorbidities who are at high risk for surgical intervention. While TAVR is generally safe and effective, rare complications can occur, including cerebral air embolism, which can result in acute neurological deficits. This report presents the case of a 75-year-old man who developed a cerebral air embolism following TAVR.

Background: The fluorescent dye indocyanine green (ICG) has been used to identify anatomical structures intraoperatively in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of using ICG to assess graft patency and territorial distribution of myocardial reperfusion during CABG.
Methods: Porcine arrested hearts (n = 18) were used to evaluate territorial distribution of native coronary arteries and of a coronary bypass constructed with porcine saphenous vein graft (SVG) using ICG.

This study investigated whether disconnection features derived from infarcts and white matter hyperintensities (WMH) could serve as markers for short- and long-term cognitive decline in first-ever minor ischemic stroke patients.
