Background: For degenerative lumbar scoliosis (DLS), prior studies mainly focused on the preoperative relationship between spinopelvic parameters and health-related quality of life (HRQoL), lacking an exhaustive evaluation of the postoperative situation. Therefore, the postoperative parameters most closely bonded with clinical outcomes has not yet been well-defined in DLS patients. The objective of this study was to comprehensively assess the correlation between radiographic parameters and HRQoL before and after surgery, and to identified the most valuable spinopelvic parameters for postoperative curative effect.

Introduction: SPLASH (NCT04647526) is a multicenter phase III trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of [Lu]Lu-PNT2002 radioligand therapy in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). This study leveraged a lead-in phase to assess tissue dosimetry and evaluate preliminary safety and efficacy, prior to expansion into a randomized phase. Here we report those results.

Background: Iatrogenic pneumothorax is a common complication of diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary procedures. New guidelines on primary spontaneous pneumothorax suggest ambulatory approaches may be suitable. However, guidance on iatrogenic pneumothorax occurring in patients with impaired lung function, increased age, comorbidity and frailty is lacking, and the safety profile of ambulatory management is not known.

Objective: To determine (1) whether the tibial plateau angle (TPA) in dogs with Salter-Harris type 1 (SH-1) or type 2 (SH-2) fractures of the proximal tibial physis significantly decreases in the time between diagnosis and reevaluation following surgical repair and (2) whether the method of surgical repair influences the change in TPA over time.
Study Design: This study was a retrospective study. Medical records from 2017 to 2022 were reviewed to identify dogs with SH-1 or SH-2 fractures of the proximal tibial physis that had undergone surgical repair with Kirschner wires (K-wires), with or without a tibial tuberosity tension band.

Introduction Degenerative spondylolisthesis (DS) is a degenerative condition characterized by subluxation of one vertebral body anterior to the adjacent inferior vertebral body with an intact pars. Conservative treatment approaches, such as steroid injections and physical therapy, may work well at first, but in resistant situations, surgery is frequently necessary. Posterolateral lumbar fusion (PLF) has been widely used, but transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) offers theoretical advantages such as improved alignment and enhanced fusion rates.
