Purpose: microRNA-371a-3p (M371) is considered a highly sensitive and specific serum biomarker of testicular germ cell tumours (GCTs). However, little is known about the expression of M371 in nontesticular malignancies (NTMs), so far. As knowledge about the expression of the marker in other malignancies is a prerequisite for the clinical application of the test we aimed to explore the M371 expression in other cancers.

Objective: Gonadal dysfunction is a major late complication after cancer diagnosis and treatment. We aimed to study the prevalence of premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and the potential reduction of ovarian reserve in a cohort of adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients undergoing cancer treatments, evaluating ovarian function and reserve markers. We also aimed to analyze how these markers are related to each other and to treatment-related risk factors.

Background And Purpose: Active surveillance is a recommended management strategy for patients with clinical stage I (CSI) seminoma. This study aims to identify patterns of relapse detection methods in an unselected population-based cohort of CSI patients and provide evidence for a risk-adapted follow-up program.
Patients/materials And Methods: A total of 924 patients with CSI seminoma were identified in the prospective Danish Testicular Cancer database.

Background: The homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) test is an important tool for identifying patients with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) benefit from the treatment with poly(adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase inhibitor (PARPi). Using whole exome sequencing (WES)-based platform can provide information of gene mutations and HRD score; however, the clinical value of WES-based HRD test was less validated in EOC.
Methods: We enrolled 40 patients with EOC in the training cohort and 23 in the validation cohort.
