Technology-critical elements (TCEs) refer to the elements that play an important role in many emerging technologies and the production of advanced materials, and these include lanthanides, tungsten and vanadium. Actinides, Tl, and Pb, which also belong to TCEs, are abundantly used in power generation, industrial applications, and modern agricultural practices. The information on the influence of these elements on the aquatic environment and biota is still rather scarce.

Gastrin-releasing peptide receptors (GRPRs) overexpressed in many cancers are known as promising biomarkers to target tumors such as prostate, breast, and lung cancers. As the early diagnosis of the cancers can serve for better treatment of the patients, [In]In-DOTA-Pip-D-Phe-Gln-Trp-Ala-Val-Gly-His-Sta-Leu-NH2 ([In]In-RM2) was prepared using an in-house developed Sn/In generator. 0.

A simple and rapid analytical method was developed for the simultaneous determination of two chromium species, Cr(III) and Cr(VI), in the environmental waters by high-performance liquid chromatography-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (HPLC-ICP-MS). This study incorporated a chelating pretreatment with 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (PDCA) to convert Cr(III) species into a stable Cr(III)-PDCA anion complex, which was then separated from Cr(VI) oxyanion using an anion exchange column. Building on the fundamental analytical approach proposed by Shigeta .

A phenylarsenic compounds, which contain arsenic (As), are chemical warfare agents; therefore, they are detected only in specific areas. Phenylarsenic compounds have gained significant research interest owing to their historical background, toxicology, and potential risks to human metabolism. However, research progress in this field has been limited because of the lack of standard materials, which ensure the chemical species and its concentration, required for analysis.
