Unlabelled: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a complex condition with clear genetic susceptibilities that impact the heterogeneous clinical presentation of symptoms and severity through unknown mechanisms. Chronic inflammation is linked to PCOS, but a clear cause-and-effect relationship has yet to be established. Teaser: Most biotech companies go public before demonstrating clinical proof-of-concept with their lead asset. Because publicly available information about such preclinical assets is typically limited, we propose a procedure to improve the efficiency of assigning market value. For the period from 2010 to 2021, we observed a phenomenon of life sciences companies conducting IPOs without any assets having demonstrated clinical proof-ofconcept (POC).

Yet, current clinical intervention strategies do not mitigate inflammation sequalae necessitating the development of innovative approaches to reduce inflammation and minimize deleterious effects of TBI. Herein, a subcutaneous formulation based on polymer of alpha-ketoglutarate (paKG) delivering glycolytic inhibitor PFK15 (PFKFB3 inhibitor, a rate limiting step in glycolysis), alpha-ketoglutarate (to fuel Krebs cycle) and peptide antigen from myelin proteolipid protein (PLP139-151) was utilized as the prophylactic immunosuppressive formulation in a mouse model of TBI.
