Fourteen forms of endopolygalacturonases were purified from the culture medium of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum with ion exchange chromatographies. Individual forms differ in their isoelectric point but exhibit similar molecular masses. On the basis of the cross-reactions to antibodies raised against a purified acidic endopolygalacturonase, these forms could be divided into two related groups. Polygalacturonase activities constitute a complex enzyme system in which the extensive multiplicity is due to the expression of a large gene family.

In our study, we have tried to enhance the biological qualities of nickel oxide nanoparticles and nanocomposites which were prepared using the extract of Aegle marmelos tree leaves and chitosan biopolymer. For in-depth study of the fabricated samples, numerous physiochemical approaches were utilized. The analysis used consists of field emission scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray analysis and photoluminescence, X-ray diffraction, UV-visible spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.

Taking the natural product cerbinal as the lead compound, 30 novel 5-aryl-cyclopenta[]pyridine derivatives were designed and synthesized based on the previous bioactivity studies of the cyclopenta[]pyridines. The modification of the position-5 of compound was achieved by amination, bromination, and cross coupling using cerbinal as the raw material.
