Introduction: Hemodialysis patients need long-term frequent use of parenteral anticoagulants, and the side effects need to be taken seriously. This study aimed to assess the reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) following administration of unfractionated heparin (UFH), low molecular weight heparins (LMWHs), fondaparinux, and danaparoid, in relation to their usage in European Economic Area (EEA).
Materials And Methods: The total number of ADRs of each anticoagulant between 2017 to 2021 was collected using data from the EudraVigilance database.

Objective: Extremely premature infants are treated with acetaminophen (APAP) for pain and patent ductus arteriosus. High doses of APAP in adults are toxic, and a recent study found an association between APAP metabolite levels in mothers' breast milk and both bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in their premature infants. In this study, we determined levels of APAP metabolites in urine of infants at high risk for BPD and ROP.

Previously reported cases have resulted in emphysematous esophagitis following anterior cervical procedures or ingestion of hydrogen peroxide (HP). In this report, we describe a case in which a patient with emphysematous esophagitis accompanied by gastritis without the above predisposing factors was treated with conservative treatment.
