Background: Auriculo-temporal syndrome is rarely seen in children: it is sometimes considered as secondary to an obstetrical injury.
Case Report: A 2.5 year-old boy was examined because he suffered from post-prandial flushing of the right cheek for 2 years. He was born normally and neurologic examination was normal. The rash was not associated with sweating or tearing.
Conclusion: There is no evidence to support food allergy in this case: rather, this syndrome probably occurs in response to salivation.

Seizure semiology and electroencephalograph (EEG) are very important for determining seizure type, hemisphere lateralization, or localization. Clinical symptoms of focal seizures, as well as findings at the onset or end of a focal to bilateral tonic-clonic seizure (FBTCS), are highly informative for lateralization. This study aimed to investigate the relationship of asymmetric last clonic jerk in patients with temporal or extratemporal lobe epilepsy with pathologies, localization, lateralization, or other semiological findings detected in neuroimaging or neuro psychometric tests and its positive predictive value for the detection of hemisphere lateralization based on seizure onset ictal EEG activation.

Background: To evaluate chorda tympani nerve function as measured by unilateral increases of gustatory thresholds in the presence of ipsilateral acute otitis media.
Methods: Prospective clinical study comparing electrogustometric measurements was conducted to evaluate the taste thresholds of each side of the tongue in a patient during an acute episode of unilateral acute otitis media. Included were patients aged 12-40 who presented to the emergency department and outpatient ear, nose, and throat clinic of a university-affiliate tertiary medical center with unilateral acute otitis media between January 2019 and January 2020 and consented to the study.
