Patient-derived organoids represent a novel platform to recapitulate the cancer cells in the patient tissue. While cancer heterogeneity has been extensively studied by a number of omics approaches, little is known about the spatiotemporal kinase activity dynamics. Here we applied a live imaging approach to organoids derived from 10 pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) patients to comprehensively understand their heterogeneous growth potential and drug responses.

The diagnosis and analysis of major depressive disorder (MDD) faces some intractable challenges such as dataset limitations and clinical variability. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (Rs-fMRI) can reflect the fluctuation data of brain activity in a resting state, which can find the interrelationships, functional connections, and network characteristics among brain regions of the patients. In this paper, a brain functional connectivity matrix is constructed using Pearson correlation based on the characteristics of multi-site Rs-fMRI data and brain atlas, and an adaptive propagation operator graph convolutional network (APO-GCN) model is designed.

Introduction: Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is a multifaceted condition that poses significant challenges in clinical management owing to its complex and varied pathophysiology, including neuropathic, somatic, visceral, and musculoskeletal components. Endometriosis is frequently associated with CPP, necessitating a comprehensive, multimodal treatment strategy. This approach typically includes physical and behavioral therapy, pharmacologic interventions, surgical management of endometriosis, and various pain-modulating procedures.

Generalized epilepsy is classically thought of as a disease of the young and adolescent, with rarely reported cases among older adults. We aimed to analyze management and outcomes in a population sparsely described in the literature through a retrospective single-center cohort design. After excluding individuals without follow-up, we identified 151 people ≥50 years at the time of electrographically confirmed generalized epilepsy.
