Liposomal nanocarriers are able to carry peptides for efficient and selective delivery of radioactive tracer and drugs into the tumors. Angiopoietin 2 (ANGPT2) is an excellent biomarker for precise diagnosis and therapy of glioma. The present study aimed to design ANGPT2-specific peptides to modify the surface of nanoliposomes containing doxorubicin (Dox) for integrative imaging and targeting therapy of glioma.

Anlotinib, a novel multi-kinase inhibitor targeting angiogenesis and tumor proliferation pathways, has shown promising efficacy in various cancers. Its role in treating thyroid cancer, particularly radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer (RAIR-DTC), medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), and anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC), is of significant clinical interest. This systematic review aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Anlotinib in patients with thyroid cancer, analyzing outcomes such as progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), response rates, and adverse events.

Although oil and gas (O&G) derived produced waters and drill cuttings are known to contain enhanced levels of naturally occurring radium-228 (Ra) and radium-226 (Ra), most relevant ecological impact assessments have excluded radiological hazards and focus on other important contaminants, such as hydrocarbons and metals. Also, due to restricted access to the delimiting safety zone around operational O&G platforms, the few previous radioecological risk assessment studies have been conducted using seawater samples collected far from the main discharge point and applying default dilution and transfer factors to estimate concentrations of contaminants in biota. In this case study, sediment cores were collected close to a former O&G platform, Northwest Hutton (NWH), that used to be in the UK North Sea (61.

Department of Radioactive Materials, Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Nucleares, Ocoyoacac, 52750, Mexico.

Background: Cancer immunotherapy is a relatively new approach to cancer treatment. Peptides that target specific pathways and cells involved in immunomodulation can potentially improve the efficacy of cancer therapy. Recently, we reported iPD-L1 as a novel inhibitor peptide that specifically targets the cancer cell ligand PD-L1 (programmed death ligand 1).
