We present a case of a 58-years-old male who developed anaphylaxis following a leech bite, leading to myocardial infarction despite the absence of prior allergic history. Background: Extensive research has established obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) as a contributing factor to numerous cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. However, whether OSA affects in-stent restenosis (ISR) after elective drug-eluting stenting is unclear. Therefore, the objective of this study was to examine the impact of OSA on ISR in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) who underwent successful elective drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation.

Background And Objectives: Currently, there remains a paucity of research on the deformation and valve function of transcatheter heart valves (THV) in patients with aortic regurgitation (AR) following transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). This study aimed to thoroughly explore the correlation between THV deformation and postoperative hemodynamics in these patients.
Methods: In this study, we assessed 39 AR patients treated with the J-Valve THV system during TAVR.

A 69-year-old man had an abnormal intracardiac course of a pacemaker lead. CT angiography demonstrated a window between the right upper pulmonary vein and the superior caval vein. The window was treated with covered stents in the superior caval vein, which was complicated by a chronic pericardial effusion that was treated with a pericardial window 6 months later.
