Microbial biotechnology employs techniques that rely on the natural interactions that occur in ecosystems. Bacteria, including rhizobacteria, play an important role in plant growth, providing crops with an alternative that can mitigate the negative effects of abiotic stress, such as those caused by saline environments, and increase the excessive use of chemical fertilizers. The present study examined the promoting potential of bacterial isolates obtained from the rhizospheric soil and roots of the Asparagus officinalis cultivar UF-157 F2 in Viru, la Libertad, Peru.

Comprehensive Analysis of Immune Characteristics of Fluorosis and Cuprotosis-Related Genes in Fluorosis Targeted Drugs.

Biol Trace Elem Res

January 2025

Department of Environmental Health, School of Public Health, Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou, Henan, 450001, P. R. China.

This study aims to investigate the role of cuprotosis in fluorosis and identify potential targeted drugs for its treatment. The GSE70719 and GSE195920 datasets were merged using the inSilicoMerging package. DEGs between the exposure and control groups were found using R software.

Ice plant (Mesembryanthemum crystallinum L.) is a halophyte and an inducible CAM plant. Ice plant seedlings display moderate salt tolerance, with root growth unaffected by 200 mM NaCl treatments, though hypocotyl elongation is hindered in salt-stressed etiolated seedlings.

Reclassification of Salisediminibacterium haloalkalitolerans Sultanpuram et al. 2015 as a Later Heterotypic Synonym of Salisediminibacterium halotolerans Jiang et al. 2012.

Curr Microbiol

January 2025

Key Laboratory of Environmental Pollution Monitoring and Disease Control, Ministry of Education of Guizhou & School of Basic Medical Science & Institution of One Health Research, Guizhou Medical University, Guiyang, 561113, People's Republic of China.

In the present study, the taxonomic position of Salisediminibacterium haloalkalitolerans was evaluated by determining the 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, genome relatedness, and phylogenetic analyses. The 16S rRNA gene sequences extracted from the genomes of Salisediminibacterium haloalkalitolerans 10nlg and Salisediminibacterium halotolerans DSM 26530 showed 100% similarity, supporting their classification as the same species. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) and digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) values between S.
