It is found that chronic purulent and pyopolypous sinusitis in children causes activation of lipid peroxidation and endogenic phospholipases in red cell membranes. There are shifts in structural and functional pattern of cytomembranes in inflammation focus (exudate from the sinuses). Membrane destabilization was maximal in pyopolypous sinus inflammation.

Astaxanthin (AST), as a natural antioxidant, has broad application prospects in medicine and health products. However, its highly unsaturated structure and significant lipophilic characteristics limit its dispersibility and bioavailability, thereby restricting its application in food, medicines, and nutraceuticals. To overcome these limitations, researchers have proposed the use of nano delivery systems.

The cytoplasm exhibits viscoelastic properties, displaying both solid and liquid-like behavior, and can actively regulate its mechanical attributes. The cytoskeleton is a major regulator among the numerous factors influencing cytoplasmic mechanics. We explore the interdependence of various cytoskeletal filaments and the impact of their density on cytoplasmic viscoelasticity.

Exosomes are nanoscale extracellular vesicles with various biological activities that can accelerate wound healing by regulating inflammatory responses, promoting cell proliferation and angiogenesis, and other mechanisms. Among them, plant and animal exosomes have demonstrated unique advantages due to their biological characteristics. Plant exosomes have gradually become a research hotspot due to their wide source, high biosafety, and low production cost, demonstrating significant pro-healing potential.
