Chemoresistance is still an important factor affecting the efficacy of treatment in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients. Hypoxia is related to poor prognosis and treatment resistance in cancer. Relevant studies have shown that a hypoxic microenvironment can promote the polarization of M2 macrophages and thus promote tumor development.

Nucleic acid hybridization is a fundamental technique in plant virus research, enabling precise detection of plant pathogens. Tissue printing hybridization exhibits high sensitivity and specificity in detecting viral genomes, providing particularly valuable for screening a large number of samples without the need for DNA purification. This method virtually eliminates contamination and false positives.

We previously demonstrated that IL-17A promotes neuroinflammation and sympathetic excitation, contributing to cardiac dysfunction in heart failure and angiotensin II (ANG II)-induced hypertension. The present study sought to determine whether inhibiting RORγt, thereby reducing IL-17A production, could attenuate microglial activation, neuroinflammation, and sympathetic excitation by preserving the integrity of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in ANG II-induced hypertensive rats.

Skin aging is accelerated by inflammation processes generated by oxidative stress and external factors such as UV radiation. Plants belonging to the genus that are rich sources of antioxidants could potentially strengthen the skin barrier if used as ingredients in cosmetic formulations. However, their use is limited due to the contents of bufadienolides, known cardiotoxins.
