Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide due to its poor prognosis. Despite significant advancements in the understanding of cancer development, improvements in diagnostic methods, and multimodal therapeutic regimens, the prognosis of lung cancer has still not improved. Therefore, it is reasonable to look for newer and alternative medicines for treatment.

Glioblastoma IDH wild type (GBM IDH wt) has a poor prognosis and a strongly associated with inflammatory processes. Inflammatory molecules generate positive feedback with tumor cells fueling tumor growth as well as recruitment of immune cells that promote aggressiveness. Although the role of many inflammatory molecules is well known, there are many macromolecules, such as the S100A proteins, whose role is only now beginning to be established.

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCC) is a rare malignant liver tumor with limited therapeutic advancements. Despite its increasing global incidence knowledge of treatment options remains stagnant, leading to poor five-year patient survival rates and high recurrence post-surgery. ALDH1A1, a member of the ALDH superfamily, is associated with cancer stem cells and has conflicting reports regarding its prognostic role in iCC.

The present study aims to identify the differentially expressed genes in HIGK treated with and their possible role in establishing head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. The study design follows a computational approach wherein multiple databases and tools are used to derive the possible association between exposure and the development of HNSCC. The GEOmnibus dataset GSE6927 provided data on the differentially expressed genes in the HIGK treated with .

Triggering receptor expressed in myeloid cells-1 (TREM1) is an important regulator of innate and adaptive immunity, which can directly amplify an inflammatory response. Current studies have found the immunomodulatory role of TREM1 in tumor microenvironment. However, the role of TREM1 in ovarian cancer (OV) remains unclear.
