Perivascular epithelioid cell neoplasms (PEComas) and epithelioid angiomyolipomas (EAMLs) are two different denominations for the same "mesenchymal tumor composed of histologically and immunohistochemically distinctive perivascular epithelioid cells". Hepatic PEComa/EAML is a very rare neoplasm, and only 29 case reports of hepatic PEComa and 25 of hepatic EAML have been reported in the current literature. A clear female predominance with a mean age at diagnosis of 42.

Objective: To investigate the diagnostic efficacy of the clinical ultrasound imaging model, ultrasonographic radiomics model, and comprehensive model based on ultrasonographic radiomics for the differentiation of small clear cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC) and Renal Angiomyolipoma (RAML).
Methods: The clinical, ultrasound, and contrast-enhanced CT(CECT) imaging data of 302 small renal tumors (maximum diameter ≤ 4cm) patients in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital from June 2018 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, with 182 patients of ccRCC and 120 patients of RAML. The ultrasound images of the largest diameter of renal tumors were manually segmented by ITK-SNAP software, and Pyradiomics (v3.

Background: Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a rare genetic disease which leads to formation of benign tumors in the brain and other organs of the body. Ultrasound (US) can detect the location, quantity, size and internal echo of TSC-associated renal diseases, liver angiomyolipoma (AML), and co-existing lesions, providing important diagnostic basis for clinical diagnosis. The aim of the present study was to investigate the abdominal ultrasonographic features of pediatric TSC and explore the advantages of abdominal ultrasonography in clinical practice.

Objective: To identify specific ultrasonographic features that differentiate hepatic angiomyolipoma (HAML) from hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Methods: Twelve patients with HAML and 73 patients with HCC, whose diagnosis were pathologically confirmed at a single center in Japan between 2006 and 2016, were included in this study. The HAML and HCC cases were histologically evaluated and their histological growth patterns were compared.

Rationale: Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (IPEH; Masson tumor) is a type of vascular lesions composed of reactive proliferation of endothelial cells that occur in organizing thrombus. It commonly occurs on the head, neck, trunk, and upper extremities, but rarely in the foot.
Patient Concerns: A 38-year-old woman visited the hospital with a mass on the dorsum of right foot, which gradually increased in size 3 months ago.
