Background: As the mandatory X-waiver requirements for prescribing buprenorphine have recently been lifted, general practitioners are being relied on to fill the treatment gap in prescribing medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). However, insufficient clinician education remains a major barrier to prescribing MOUD in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Objective: To evaluate the impact of a new MOUD curriculum on internal medicine (IM) residents' attitudes, comfort, and knowledge of buprenorphine in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

The increased growth, popularity, and media interest in women's sport has led to calls for greater prioritisation of female-specific research and innovation. In response, science and medicine researchers have increased the volume of sport-related studies investigating female-specific matters, such as the menstrual cycle. Whilst the accelerated rate of published studies with female participants is welcome, the emerging trend of using assumed or estimated menstrual cycle phases to characterise ovarian hormone profiles is a significant concern.

However, few among them have clarity on what such life-prolonging treatments mean or entail. This study clarifies differences in the perspectives of medical professionals based on levels of expertise with respect to treatment decisions for intensive care unit (ICU) patients whose wishes for end-of-life care are ambiguous.

Introduction: The burden of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) disease is substantial among adults aged ≥ 60 years and adults with risk factors for severe RSV. This study assessed the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of healthcare professionals (HCPs) related to RSV disease and vaccination, with a focus on adults aged ≥ 60 years.
Methods: During November 14-30, 2023, a cross-sectional, web-based survey was administered to HCPs, targeting a total of 600 primary care physicians (PCPs), specialist physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs)/physician assistants (PAs), and pharmacists.

Introduction: In England, eligible adults aged 40-74 years are invited to attend a face-to-face (F2F) NHS Health Check appointment every 5 years. A digital version of the Health Check was introduced by a local authority as an alternative for those hesitant or less able to attend an F2F appointment.
Objectives: This qualitative study aimed to understand service users' (SUs) and healthcare professionals' (HCPs) experiences and opinions of F2F Health Checks and digital Health Checks (DHC), identify barriers and facilitators of the F2F Health Check and DHC pathways, and recommend potential improvements.
