The optimal management of acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) remains a controversial subject. While some surgeons opt for a hemiarch approach to minimize bypass and cross-clamping time, others prefer partial or total arch replacement to prevent the need for additional operations. The advent of hybrid approaches offers a variety of options to the aortic surgeon in treating ATAAD.

Burn injuries in patients with significant pre-existing medical conditions provide unique challenges in both medical management and surgical planning. Spasticity, if left untreated, can be one of the most disabling consequences of a neurologic injury. Treatment is largely dependent on pharmacologic management with anti-spasmodic agents such as baclofen.

Significance: Epidemiological information about the epiretinal membrane is important for better clinical management and understanding of the nature and burden of this disease. There are some gaps in our understanding of the epidemiology of epiretinal membranes, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.
Purpose: This study aimed to determine the prevalence and risk factors of epiretinal membrane using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) in an Iranian elderly population.

Chronic absenteeism, defined as more than 18 days of missed school, can have a significant impact on a child's educational progression, but missed school and work due to scoliosis treatment are not well quantified in the literature. This study investigates absenteeism among scoliosis patients and their caregivers.

Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of single-stage versus multistage endovascular treatment in subarachnoid hemorrhage patients with Mirror Aneurysms.
Materials And Methods: Our research team performed a prospective study, focusing on the radiographic and clinical data of patients diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage, specifically those who presented with Mirror Aneurysms upon admission to our institutions. According to the different endovascular treatment stages, these patients were grouped into the multistage cohort and the single-stage cohort.
