Fluorine-19 (F) MRI has become an established tool for in vivo cell tracking following ex vivo or in vivo labelling of various cell types with F perfluorocarbons (PFCs). Here, we developed and evaluated novel mouse-specific radiofrequency (RF) hardware for improved dual H anatomical imaging and deep tissue F MR detection of PFCs. Three linearly polarized birdcage RF coils were constructed-a dual-frequency H/F coil, and a pair of single-frequency H and F coils, designed to be used sequentially.

The main magnetic field, generated by the excitation coil of the magnetic induction phase shift technology detection system, is mostly dispersed field with small field strength, and the offset effect needs to be further improved, which makes the detection signal weak and the detection system difficult to achieve quantitative detection, thus the technology is rarely used experiments and clinical trials. In order to improve problems mentioned above, a new Helmholtz birdcage sensor was designed. Stimulation experiment was carried out to analyze the main magnetic field in aspects of intensity and magnetic distribution, then different bleeding volume and bleeding rates experiments were conducted to compared with traditional sensors.

Purpose: We propose and evaluate multiphoton parallel transmission (MP-pTx) to mitigate flip angle inhomogeneities in high-field MRI. MP-pTx is an excitation method that utilizes a single, conventional birdcage coil supplemented with low-frequency (kHz) irradiation from a multichannel shim array and/or gradient channels. SAR analysis is simplified to that of a conventional birdcage coil, because only the radiofrequency (RF) field from the birdcage coil produces significant SAR.

Objective: A volume coil with squared slots-end ring was developed to attain improved sensitivity for imaging of rat's brain at 7 T.
Material And Methods: The principles of the high cavity resonator for the low-pass case and the law of Biot-Savart were used to derive a theoretical expression of [Formula: see text]. The slotted-end ring resonator showed a theoretical 2.
