Introduction: Nerve palsies are potential consequences of fractures that can result in temporary loss of muscular function. Nerve palsies have not been extensively described in the context of tibial tubercle fractures in the pediatric population. Although the symptoms accompanying nerve palsies concern patients, evidence suggests that non-operative management often results in full functional recovery over time.

Introduction: Foot drop is a disorder characterized by weakness in the dorsiflexor muscles of the foot, caused by various pathologies, including neurological, muscular, spinal, and autoimmune conditions. Sometimes, it can be iatrogenic due to direct nerve compression, traction, or ischemia. The occurrence and underlying mechanism of foot drop following aortobifemoral bypass surgery are not well-documented in literature.

Background And Aims: Histopathological diagnosis is the gold standard in many acquired inflammatory, infiltrative and amyloid based peripheral nerve diseases and a sensory nerve biopsy of sural or superficial peroneal nerve is favoured where a biopsy is deemed necessary. The ability to determine nerve pathology by high-resolution imaging techniques resolving anatomy and imaging characteristics might improve diagnosis and obviate the need for biopsy in some. The sural nerve is anatomically variable and occasionally adjacent vessels can be sent for analysis in error.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower extremities is divided into 2 categories according to the extent of thrombosis involvement. Thrombosis involving the popliteal vein, femoral vein, and iliac vein is classified as proximal DVT, while thrombosis involving the anterior tibial vein, posterior tibial vein, peroneal vein, and calf muscles vein is regarded as distal DVT. There are updated guidelines for the anticoagulant treatment for proximal DVT, but the best anticoagulant treatment for distal DVT is still controversial, especially for isolated calf muscular vein thrombosis (CMVT).
