A new chronic restraining system has been designed specifically for male rhesus monkeys (8-13 kg) housed in weightlessness for scientific purposes. The restraining system consists of a coat (jacket and skirt) and a chair. The system separates the thorax from the lower part of the body, and allows large movements of the upper part of the body. The macaque can feed and groom itself, and can also sleep in close-to-normal position.

The shift toward a histo-molecular approach in World Health Organization classification of central nervous system tumors (WHO CNS5) emphasizes the critical role of molecular testing, such as next-generation sequencing (NGS) and DNA methylation profiling, for accurate diagnosis. However, implementing these advanced techniques is particularly challenging in resource-constrained countries. To address this, the Asian Oceanian Society of Neuropathology committee for Adapting Diagnostic Approaches for Practical Taxonomy in Resource-Restrained Regions (AOSNP-ADAPTR) was initiated to help pathologists in resource-limited regions to implement WHO CNS5 diagnoses using simpler diagnostic tools, mainly immunohistochemistry.

Background: Antibiotic consumption is considered an important risk factor for Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI). This ecological analysis investigates the influence of outpatient antibiotic prescriptions in statutory health insurance (SHI) on the admission prevalence of CDI in German hospitals participating in voluntary CDI surveillance through the hospital infection surveillance system (Krankenhaus-Infektions-Surveillance-System; KISS).
Methods: The annual CDI admission prevalence of a hospital at the federal state level was associated with the outpatient antibiotic consumption of the corresponding federal state.

H3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3) modification and related regulators extensively regulate various crucial transcriptional courses in health and disease. However, the regulatory relationship between H3K4me3 modification and anti-tumor immunity has not been fully elucidated. We identified 72 independent prognostic genes of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) whose transcriptional expression were closely correlated with known 27 H3K4me3 regulators.

With increasing urbanization pressures, there is an urgent need to improve the urban residents' well-being and achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs). Ecosystem services (ESs) are vital for human well-being (HW) and survival, providing essential benefits like clean water while supporting the SDGs. However, understanding the impact mechanism of urban ESs on the HW under the framework of the SGDs in a changing world remains challenging.

Anisotropic carrier transport and deep-level defect of antimony selenosulfide (Sb(S,Se)) absorber are two vital auses restraining the photovoltaic performance of this emerging thin-film solar cell. Herein, chelate engineering is proposed to prepare high-quality Sb(S,Se) film based on hydrothermal deposition approach, which realizes desirable carrier transport and passivated defects by using tetrahedral PO ion in dibasic sodium phosphate (NaHPO, DSP). The PO Lewis structure, on one hand in the form of [(SbO)(PO)] chelate, can adsorb on the polar planes of cadmium sulfide (CdS) layer, promoting the heterogeneous nucleation, and on the other hand, the tetrahedral PO inhibits horizontal growth of (SbS(e)) ribbons due to size effects, thus achieving desirable [hk1] orientation.
