Photo CD technology has expanded significantly since its introduction a few years ago. Because it is not strictly considered interactive multimedia, it has been largely overlooked in the medical field, but it has tremendous capabilities for image storage, retrieval, and transfer. Images can be used for both educator-assisted conferences and self teaching. Adding audio technology to the photo CD expands the self-teaching concept. The equipment needed is simple and relatively inexpensive. The time required to learn how to create photo CDs is short, and they can be produced at almost any institution.

The design of bifunctional photocatalysts for the removal of contaminants and the reduction of CO is of significant practical importance in addressing pollution and energy challenges. However, the photocatalytic efficiency is limited by the inadequate redox ability, high carrier recombination rate, and insufficient reactive sites of existing photocatalysts. Herein, a 2D/2D S-scheme heterojunction composed of cobalt-porphyrin conjugated polymer nanoflakes and CN nanosheets (CoPor-DBE/CN) was rationally synthesized, exhibiting matched redox ability and favorable CO adsorption properties.

Tau aggregation plays a crucial role in the development of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Developing specific techniques that can isolate pathogenic tau from brain tissue is important for understanding tauopathies and advancing targeted therapies. Here, we develop photoaffinity small molecular probes and a novel method for tissue labeling and investigate their activity in interacting with tau in cells and AD patient brains.

Corneal persistent epithelial defects are common ophthalmic injuries that can cause significant visual and structural damage. While diagnosis is straightforward, treatment remains challenging. Noninvasive therapies like eye drops are preferred, but severe neurotrophic keratopathy may require surgical interventions.

ZnGaO demonstrates excellent crystalline quality, establishing a heteroepitaxial relationship with the sapphire substrate and exhibiting a 6-fold harmonic symmetry corresponding to the sapphire lattice planes. Cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy analysis reveals the single-crystalline nature of ZnGaO films grown on a sapphire substrate using MOCVD. These findings emphasize the critical role of film uniformity in enhancing the performance metrics of unipolar Schottky photodiodes.

Electromagnetic materials with adjustable dielectric and magnetic properties are constantly sought after in electronic and industrial fields. In this study, an innovative strategy that customizes anchored Co-based nanoparticles to optimize the electronic behaviors is proposed for the first time, enabling a controllable and high-efficiency evolution of the macroscopic electromagnetic response of Co-based (C/CoT) nanoplates across the X-ray, light in the solar band and gigahertz band. Specifically, in the gigahertz band, the C/Co and C/CoSe nanoplates with high-power loss capabilities can effectively attenuate and convert electromagnetic energy into heat energy, which not only prevents space electromagnetic radiation but also powers energy for various electromagnetic devices such as thermoelectric generators and microwave actuators.
