Background And Objectives: Huge clinical and research gaps exist concerning the epidemiology, natural history, availability, and accessibility of care for sleep disorders in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). This study aimed to profile the characteristics of patients referred for polysomnography and the frequencies of sleep disorders encountered at the new sleep laboratory in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective hospital-based descriptive observational study was conducted at the Aga Khan Hospital Dar es Salaam.

Introduction: Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is considered the second most common chronic health condition in children. Untreated SDB is associated with long-term health consequences. Our objective was to translate the Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire (PSQ) into Lithuanian and culturally adapt and validate the translated version in order to improve the diagnosis of SDB in Lithuanian children.

Background: Although sleep duration and sleep-related breathing disorders were associated with dementia previously, few studies examined the association between circadian rhythm association and cognitive status.
Objective: We aimed to investigate the association of rest and activity rhythm with cognitive performance in older people with cognitive complaints and less education.
Methods: Activity rhythm was evaluated with wrist actigraphy in 109 community-dwelling older people with cognitive complaints without diagnosed dementia.
