The incidence of ventricular arrhythmias during muscular work in 400 patients hospitalized for clear or suspected coronary artery disease who underwent coronaroangiography and exercise test was studied. The correlations between the arrhythmias and some hemodynamic parameters and the coronaroangiogrphy patterns and left ventricle cineangiography were investigated. None of the factors that were supposed to be significant in the mechanism of the ventricular arrhythmias, such as high left ventricular end dyastolic pressure, modified myocardial contractility, previous myocardial infarct, or higher lesions of coronary arteries, gave significant correlations. In the present study, the ventricular arrhythmias during muscular work do not seem to be of diagnostic significance.

Objectives: Ischemia/reperfusion (IR)-induced ventricular arrhythmia, which mainly occurs after the opening of coronary artery occlusion, poses a clinical problem. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of pretreatment with coenzyme Q (CoQ) in combination with mitochondrial transplantation on IR-induced ventricular arrhythmias in aged rats.
Materials And Methods: Myocardial IR induction was performed by left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion for 30 min, followed by re-opening for 24 hr.
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a heritable myocardial condition that mostly affects the right ventricle (RV). Atrial involvement is poorly understood and the evidence for atrial involvement remains limited. In this case report, we describe an 18-year-old woman who had ARVC with the atrial tachyarrhythmia and initially presented with palpitations.

The left atrium (LA) is pivotal in cardiac hemodynamics, serving as a dynamic indicator of left ventricular (LV) compliance and diastolic function. The LA undergoes structural and functional adaptations in response to hemodynamic stress, infiltrative processes, myocardial injury, and arrhythmic triggers. Remodeling of the LA in response to these stressors directly impacts pulmonary circulation, eventually leading to pulmonary capillary involvement, pulmonary artery hypertension, and eventually right ventricular failure.
