Worms are organisms characterized by simple structures, low energy consumption, and stable movement. Inspired by these characteristics, worm-like soft robots demonstrate exceptional adaptability to unstructured environments, attracting considerable interest in the field of biomimetic engineering. The primary challenge currently involves improving the motion performance of worm-like robots from the perspectives of actuation and anchoring.

Full-arch zirconia restorations on implants have gained popularity due to zirconia's strength and aesthetics, yet they are still associated with challenges like structural fractures, peri-implant complications, and design misfits. Advances in CAD/CAM and digital workflows offer potential improvements, but a technique that consistently addresses these issues in fixed, full-arch, implant-supported prostheses is needed. This novel technique integrates a facially and prosthetically driven treatment approach, which is divided into three phases: data acquisition, restoration design, and manufacturing/delivery.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a kind of inflammation homeostasis disorder that dysfunctions the joints. Clinically, medications against RA focus simply on mitigating the focal inflammation, without considering pro-osteogenesis re-modeling of the bone microenvironment. In the present work, 2D layered calcium disilicide nanoparticles (CSNs) are fabricated by facile aqueous exfoliation.

Background: Tigecycline is one of the few effective treatments for multidrug-resistant bacteria. However, the recent emergence and spread of high-level tigecycline resistance in Enterobacteriaceae have significantly limited its clinical use. To combat this challenge, combining antibiotics with adjuvants has emerged as a promising strategy.

Despite first-void urine (FVU) being increasingly recognized as a credible specimen for human papillomavirus (HPV) detection, there is a lack of well-validated testing methods providing full quantitative genotyping required for vaccine impact monitoring from FVU samples. The Allplex HPV28 assay, capable of individually detecting 28 HPV genotypes, presents a promising method. We aimed to evaluate its genotype-specific performance on FVU samples, following optimization of FVU preanalytics.
