Six patients presenting with supradiaphragmatic Hodgkin's disease are presented to demonstrate the potential benefits of chest computed tomography (CT) scanning as a routine staging procedure. These cases show that CT scanning can detect mediastinal and lung involvement not readily detected by other investigations, and that such findings can influence the radiotherapy plan, the need for extended radiotherapy fields or the use of chemotherapy. Following treatment, CT scanning can be useful to assess treatment response and may permit earlier detection of relapse. The use of chest CT scanning as a routine staging procedure in all patients with supradiaphragmatic Hodgkin's disease is advocated.

Activated phosphoinositide 3-kinase-δ syndrome 2 (APDS2) is characterized by lymphoproliferation and increased risk of malignancy. FDG-PET/CT may represent a helpful diagnostic tool for differentiating these clinical features and correctly diagnosing inborn errors of immunity (IEI). We present the case of a female patient diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at 19 years of age, although atypical imaging aspects emerged: baseline FDG-PET/CT revealed several hot lymph nodes with a symmetrical distribution, and increased tracer uptake in spleen, axial, and appendicular bone marrow.

Background: One of the exceptionally rare forms of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is primary cardiac lymphoma (PCL). The principal clinical manifestation in patients with PCL involves cardiac symptoms resulting from myocardial infiltration by lymphoma, including arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain. F-FDG PET/CT serves as a reliable and indispensable imaging modality for assessing clinically staging NHL.

This biophysical study aimed to determine fitting parameters for the Lyman-Kutcher-Burman (LKB) dose-response model for normal tissue complication probability (NTCP) calculations of acute side effects and to investigate the impact of reduced radiation doses on the probability of their occurrence in supradiaphragmatic non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) irradiation. A cohort of 114 patients with NHL in the cervicothoracic region, treated between 2015 and 2021 at the University Hospitals of Münster, Hamburg, and Essen, with involved site radiation therapy (ISRT), were included. Among them, 68 patients with aggressive NHL (a-NHL) received consolidative radiation therapy with 24-54 Gy following (R-)CHOP chemotherapy.

We discuss the case of a 79-year-old immunocompetent male who presented with weight loss and diarrhea and ultimately was found to have a rectosigmoid mass on a colonoscopy. Even though initial biopsies obtained during colonoscopy were non-diagnostic, considering the likelihood of malignancy, lower anterior resection was performed, and pathology confirmed the diagnosis of primary Hodgkin's lymphoma of the sigmoid colon. Hodgkin's lymphoma typically presents as painless supra-diaphragmatic lymphadenopathy with B symptoms such as fever, unexplained weight loss, and drenching night sweats.

DIAGNOSIS AND STAGING OF HODGKIN LYMPHOMA. Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is composed of two distinct disease entities: classical HL (cHL) and nodular lymphocyte predominant HL (NLPHL). NLPHL is a rare entity with a specific therapeutic management.
