Objective: Across social media, nocturnal mouth-taping has been credited with benefits from increased energy and immunity to improved dental health. This scoping review summarizes the literature on mouth-taping and prominent social media claims pertaining to this practice.
Data Sources: PubMed and Embase were searched using terms related to nocturnal mouth-taping.

Introduction: Early childhood development is a strong predictor of long-term health outcomes, potentially mediated via epigenetics (DNA methylation). The aim of the current study was to examine how childhood experiences, punitive parenting, and an intergenerational psychotherapeutic intervention may impact DNA methylation in young children and their mothers.
Methods: Mothers and their infants/toddlers between 0 and 24 months were recruited at baseline (n = 146, 73 pairs) to participate in a randomized control trial evaluating the effectiveness of The Michigan Model of Infant Mental Health Home Visiting (IMH-HV) parent-infant psychotherapy compared to treatment as usual.

Background: Open radical cholecystectomy is the current "gold standard" for the management of gallbladder cancer. In well-selected patients, robotic radical cholecystectomy (RRC) can be a suitable alternative offering immediate postoperative benefits, such as less blood loss, shorter hospital stay, and fewer complications, while being oncologically equivalent. However, it requires a longer learning curve.

Introduction: Total resection of the gastric tube with lymphadenectomy for advanced gastric tube cancer is highly invasive and associated with severe complications. Other surgical option, partial gastrectomy or wedge resection, is insufficient if lymph node metastasis is suspected. Therefore, a technique balancing invasiveness and curability is required.
