The compliance of diabetic patients is very poor. In addition to the knowledge of the various stages of acceptance of the disease as described by A. Lacroix in this journal, it is necessary to learn more about the patient's personality. In this article, four different personalities are proposed using the test "Persona" (Polymanagement SA, Geneva) in order to have the correct choice of therapy, corresponding to the personality. We hope that in the long term, by using this test, therapeutic compliance for the diabetic patients will be improved.

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is mostly caused by stenotic atherosclerotic lesions of lower limb arteries. Intermittent claudication is the most common manifestation, while, in more advanced stages of the disease, chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) occurs. Optimal medical therapy is an essential cornerstone in all stages of PAD, while endovascular and open surgical revascularisation are of great importance - depending on the patient and lesion characteristics and can be used in a complementary manner.

Introduction: Recent studies emphasize that lifestyle changes, including physical activity programs, are at least as effective as pharmacological agents in preventing diabetes. The aim of this study was to compare the body composition, presence of diabetes symptoms, and balance of individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and healthy individuals with the same physical activity level.
Methods: A total of 68 individuals participated in the study, including 34 diabetic patients (17 with moderate physical activity (MPA) and 17 with low physical activity (LPA)) and 34 healthy controls (17 with MPA and 17 with LPA).
Objective: This study aimed to assess the association between hemoglobin levels and in-hospital outcomes in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC).
Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of 1,027 consecutive STEMI patients, from July 2022 to March 2023. The cohort was divided into two groups according to the presence of anemia on admission.
This systematic review evaluates the comparative efficacy and safety of antihypertensive therapies, including angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEis), angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), and calcium channel blockers (CCBs), in managing hypertension among chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. A comprehensive search adhering to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines was conducted across five databases, identifying eight randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published in the last five years. The included studies examined diverse populations, ranging from pediatric to elderly CKD patients, with interventions tailored to specific subgroups, including those with proteinuria or diabetic kidney disease.

However, many patients are unable to follow the prescribed lifestyle modifications. This study aimed to investigate the causes of non-adherence in Indian adult patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) or hypertension, who were advised lifestyle modifications along with pharmacotherapy.
