High intraocular pressure (IOP) is an important risk factor for glaucoma, which is influenced by genetic and environmental factors. However, the etiology of high IOP remains uncertain. Metabolites are compounds involved in metabolism which provide a link between the internal (genetic) and external environments.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the status of tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) using radiomic features in patients with invasive pulmonary adenocarcinoma (IA).
Methods: In this retrospective study, patients with IA from November 2015 to March 2024 were recruited from two independent centers (center 1, training and internal test data set; center 2, external test data set). TLS was divided into two groups according to hematoxylin-eosin staining.

Relying on composite nonlinear feedback, an output-feedback controller is robustly addressed in the singular models with uncertainties, disturbances and time-delays. For this purpose, an observer-based compensator is utilized to realize the purpose. In the presence of disturbance and uncertainty, it is demonstrated that the tracking error and the states of the overall system are ultimately bounded.

Motor actions adapt dynamically to external changes through the brain's ability to predict sensory outcomes and adjust for discrepancies between anticipated and actual sensory inputs. In this study, we investigated how changes in target speed (v) and direction influenced visuomotor responses, focusing on gaze and manual joystick control during an interception task. Participants tracked a moving target with sinusoidal variations in v and directional changes, generating sensory prediction errors and requiring real-time adjustments.

In recent years, continuous manufacturing (CM) has become increasingly popular in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of oral solid dosage (OSD) forms. Most of the newly developed active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) nowadays are extremely cohesive and sticky with a mean particle size particle of <100μm, a wide particle size distribution (PSD) and a high tendency to agglomerate, making them difficult to accurately dose using loss-in-weight equipment during CM. In this research paper, the effect of various glidants on the volumetric and gravimetric feeding of several APIs was assessed.
