Eighty-six patients with histologically verified internal endometriosis were examined using histochemical, morphometric methods, and measurements of blood and myometrial tissue phosphatidyl inosites. Blood levels of phosphatidyl inosites were found reliably decreased in the patients vs. normal subjects, whereas their levels in myometrial tissue were significantly increased. Increased counts of tissue basophils, microcirculation disorders, lymphostasis and membranogenic stromal edema development were observed round endometriosis foci. Changes in the basic substance and fibrous structures of myometrial connective tissue complex were revealed, most marked in the areas adjacent to the endometrium. A possible mechanism of the development of pathologic shifts in internal endometriosis is discussed.

Intramural pregnancy (IMP) is an extremely rare form of ectopic pregnancy (EP), typically associated with previous uterine trauma, adenomyosis, or assisted reproductive technology (ART), such as embryo transfer (ET). Despite its potentially life-threatening nature, the absence of definitive preoperative diagnostic criteria for IMP complicates its early detection and management, especially in patients without known risk factors. Additionally, management becomes more challenging when there is an elevated risk of hemorrhage.

Background: Uterine cystic adenomyosis (CA) is a unique form of adenomyosis with a single or fused lumen of the cystic space exceeding a diameter of 1 cm that typically results in progressively worsening dysmenorrhea. In most cases, the prognosis and pregnancy outcomes of CA remained unclear, and therefore further studies are warranted.
Case Description: A 19‑year‑old woman was admitted for irregular vaginal bleeding that lasted for more than one month.

Background Endometriosis-related infertility and its treatment with assisted reproductive technologies (ART) have been broadly researched. Yet, underlying mechanisms of infertility, particularly in the absence of tubal dysfunction, remain unclear. While the impact of inflammatory milieu on the ovary and/or endometrium has been indicated as a contributing factor, recent evidence from euploid transfers and donor cycles questions the extent of these effects.

To investigate the correlation between uterine volume and intrauterine adhesion (IUA). From June 2018 to November 2019, totally 7 007 patients who underwent hysteroscopy in outpatient operating rooms of Gynecological Minimally Invasive Center, Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital were retrospectively analyzed Patients of reproductive age with IUA without uterine fibroids and adenomyosis were selected as IUA group, and patients of reproductive age without uterine fibroids and adenomyosis without IUA during the same period were selected as the control group. The propensity score matching (PSM) method was used to perform 1∶1 matching for the two groups of patients, matching variables included age, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), gravidity, parity, and number of abortion curettage.

Adenomyosis is characterized by abnormal uterine bleeding, dysmenorrhea and subfertility. Increased expression of angiogenesis markers in adenomyosis presents a treatment opportunity and was studied in an adenomyosis mouse model. Mice were administered tamoxifen (1 mg/kg) on neonatal days 2-5.
