We performed a prospective, randomized trial comparing ultrasound guidance of suprapubic bladder aspiration with unguided aspiration. The acquisition of urine improved with ultrasound guidance from 60% to 96.4%. The number of needle insertions decreased and the amount of urine obtained increased. Ultrasonography is a useful tool for bladder aspiration.

Objective: To compare the effectiveness of ultrasound-guided closed reduction with Kirschner wire fixation and open reduction with Kirschner wire fixation in the treatment of humeral lateral condyle fracture (HLCF) in children.
Methods: A clinical data of 53 children with HLCF admitted between May 2020 and April 2023 and met selective criteria was retrospectively analyzed. Of these, 25 cases were managed with closed reduction and Kirschner wire fixation under ultrasound guidance (closed group), while 28 cases underwent open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation (open group).

Purpose: To compare costs of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)-guided transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) creation versus non-IVUS-guided TIPS creation, accounting for differences in procedure time and resource utilization.
Materials And Methods: This single institution retrospective study estimated procedure time and resource utilization from 157 consecutive elective TIPS creation procedures, of which 91 were IVUS-guided and 66 were non-IVUS-guided. Differences in procedure costs were derived using time-driven activity-based costing.

Purpose: To determine the technical feasibility of discriminating discontiguous from contiguous ablation zones between a pair of microwave ablation (MWA) applicators using broadband microwave transmission signal measurements in an in vivo porcine liver model.
Methods: Dual applicator 2.45GHz MWA was performed using one directional and one omnidirectional applicator, spaced 3cm apart, under imaging guidance.

Background: Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) guidance has been shown to yield favorable outcomes for endovascular treatment of femoropopliteal artery (FPA) disease with drug-coated balloon (DCB) angioplasty. However, the specific benefits of IVUS for treatment of complex FPA lesions remain uncertain.
Objectives: In this study, the authors compared the clinical impact of IVUS-guided vs angiography-guided DCB angioplasty in patients with complex or noncomplex FPA lesions.

Introduction: Evaluating the mechanical-anatomical alignment and angles of the knee joint is crucial for athletes. We aimed to analyse the relationship between lower extremity bone alignment and the importance of the Q angle (QA) in male athletes.
Methods: We included 38 male professional football athletes without any alignment or varus-valgus deformity who actively played football in various football clubs in Istanbul.
