In the experiment on 49 animals, including 29 with modelled acute peritonitis the anticommissural effect of emulsified fatty substances was studied. In introduction into the abdominal cavity, the substances studied had no toxic effect, caused no embolism, abscesses and adhesions. The method was successfully used in the clinic in 25 patients.
