Smoking is highly prevalent in people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA), leading to detrimental effects in different tissues. We examined the effects of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) on smoking cessation and vascular health. From December 2019 to October 2021, we prospectively enrolled PLHA who were actively smoking.

We assessed vaping behaviors, environments, COVID-19 influences, and barriers and facilitators of existing approaches that address adolescent vaping in Massachusetts middle and high schools. Findings from this study will provide considerations for individual schools or districts as they advance adolescent vaping prevention and treatment efforts. We analyzed 310 open-ended comments from Massachusetts school administrators who completed a survey between November 2020 and January 2021.

Background: Immigrant populations in Saudi Arabia face significant health inequalities, including higher smoking prevalence and lower tobacco cessation rate, but little is known about smoking among expatriate workers.
Aims: To identify the prevalence and workplace correlates of current smoking to enable targeted anti-smoking interventions.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey of 4575 male expatriate workers was used to investigate the associations between self-reported tobacco smoking, sociodemographic characteristics, industry and occupation groups, health insurance status and overall health status using logistic regression analyses.
