Introduction: Cyst formation after stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for brain arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) is a rare, delayed but important complication. Prompt recognition and appropriate treatment is essential for good outcome.
Methods: We analysed our institute's Gamma knife treatment records from 2008 to 2023 and analysed AVM treated patients by gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS).

Introduction: The radio-surgical literature increasingly uses biological effective dose (BED) as a replacement for absorbed dose to analyze outcome of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). There are as yet no studies which specifically investigate the association of BED to local tumor control in para-sellar meningioma.
Methods: we did a retrospective analysis of patients underwent stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for para-sellar meningioma during the period of 1995-2022.

The management of head and neck cancers is multidisciplinary, often relying on the use of combined treatments to maximize the chances of cure. Combined treatments are however also responsible for cumulative side effects. The aim of reconstructive surgery with a flap is to restore a function lost with the loss of substance from the tumor resection.

Background: L-[methyl-11C]-methionine-positron emission tomography (Met-PET) is a potentially important imaging adjunct in the diagnostic workup of pituitary adenomas, including somatotroph tumors. Met-PET can identify residual or occult disease and make definitive therapies accessible to a subgroup of patients who would otherwise require lifelong medical therapy. However, existing data on its use are still limited to small case series.
