The late-term results (follow-up periods of up to 18 months) of the patency of the main vessels of the lower limbs and brain were studied in 10 patients with occlusive lesions after angioplasty with excimeric laser of 308 nm wave length. Although the patency of the reconstructed vessels was maintained in 60% of cases, a good clinical effect was encountered in the late-term periods in 80% of patients. That is, the initial degree of ischemia did not recur in some of the patients after laser recanalization and subsequent balloon dilatation. The frequency of the development of restenosis or reocclusion depended on the extension of the earlier obliterated segment and the presence of a concomitant stenosing lesion.

Background And Purpose: The quantitative intra-arterial flow dynamics following percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stenting (PTAS) for severe intracranial artery stenosis have never been investigated. We aimed to evaluate peritherapeutic intracranial artery flow dynamics following PTAS with quantitative magnetic resonance angiography (qMRA) to predict long-term stent patency.
Design: This is a prospective, single-center study.

Unlabelled: Carotid Blowout Syndrome (CBS) is a rare and life-threatening condition that necessitates prompt intervention to prevent fatal hemorrhage. This study compares the outcomes of two primary endovascular approaches: reconstructive interventions, which aim to preserve carotid artery function using stents or balloon angioplasty, and deconstructive interventions, which involve vessel occlusion to halt bleeding. A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed by searching multiple databases for relevant studies published from January 2000 to August 2023.

Background: This study aims to synthesise recent findings on the outcomes of common femoral endarterectomy (CFE) with profundoplasty, evaluating the efficacy, complications, and predictors of long-term success in patients undergoing this procedure.
Patients And Methods: This is a descriptive retrospective study assessing the outcomes of CFE with profundoplasty. All patients with chronic limb-threatening ischaemia (CLTI) who attended and underwent CFE with profundoplasty with or without iliac intervention at Glan Clwyd Hospital (Wales, United Kingdom) were studied.

This case report examines a rare cardiovascular abnormality, the Aberrant Aortic Origin of the Right Coronary Artery (AAORCA), in a 75-year-old patient with a history of myocardial infarction, acute renal injury, and cardiogenic shock. Rapid medical intervention, including coronary angioplasty, demonstrated the significance of prompt care. Chronic issues, including tobacco use and left ventricular dysfunction, complicated matters, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive long- term therapy.

Objective: Berry syndrome is a group of rare congenital cardiac malformations including aortopulmonary window (APW), aortic origin of the right pulmonary artery (AORPA), interruption of the aortic arch (IAA), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) (supplying the descending aorta) and intact ventricular septum. This paper will analyze the clinical data of 7 patients with Berry syndrome who underwent surgical treatment in our institution and discuss the one-stage surgical correction of Berry syndrome in combination with the literature.
Methods: From January 2013 to July 2024, a total of 7 children with Berry syndrome were admitted to the Cardiac Surgery Department of Beijing Children's Hospital.
