The CHO VRC01 cell line produces an anti-HIV IgG1 monoclonal antibody containing N-linked glycans on both the Fab (variable) and Fc (constant) regions. Site-specific glycan analysis was used to measure the complex effects of cell culture process conditions on Fab and Fc glycosylation. Experimental data revealed major differences in glycan fractions across the two sites.

A Flapping-Wing Rotor (FWR) is a novel bio-inspired micro aerial vehicle configuration, featuring unique wing motions which combine active flapping and passive rotation for high lift production. Power efficiency in flight has recently emerged as a critical factor in FWR development. The current study investigates an elastic flapping mechanism to improve FWRs' power efficiency by incorporating springs into the system.

Esophageal cancer (EC), the fifth most common cause of cancer-related mortality in China, poses a significant threat to public health. Among the pathological types, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is predominant, comprising approximately 90 % of cases. Screening is crucial for early detection, diagnosis and treatment, thereby reducing ESCC mortality.

In virtual drug screening, consensus docking is a standard in-silico approach consisting of a combined result from optimized docking experiments, a minimum of two results combination. Therefore, consensus docking is subjected to a lower success rate than the best docking method due to its mathematical nature, an unavoidable limitation. This study aims to overcome this drawback via random forest, an ensemble machine learning model.
