Shooting precision is a fundamental characteristic in soccer, yet the probabilistic structure and magnitude of precision in soccer shooting remain quantitatively unexplored. This study aimed to quantify shooting precision using measures derived from the bivariate normal distribution for both preferred and non-preferred feet. Sixteen right-footed collegiate soccer players participated by performing instep kicks aiming at targets which are placed close to the left and right top corners of the soccer goal.

Background: The purpose of this systematic review is to examine the learning curve associated with minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for the treatment of hallux valgus (HV).
Methods: A systematic review was performed using PubMed, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, CINAHL and MEDLINE databases from database inception to February 16th, 2023. Inclusion criteria was articles with level of evidence I-III, any outcomes associated with learning curve, minimally invasive surgery, and diagnosis of hallux valgus' in adult patients.

The relationships between movement style and golf performance have been well researched, but the premise of segregated movement styles has not been fully examined. The purpose of this investigation was to examine the postulation that centre of pressure data are not best described by segregated styles but instead by a continuum and to determine relationships between centre of pressure, handicap and clubhead speed using a continuous approach. Centre of pressure paths of driver and 5-iron shots from 104 amateur golfers were analysed using discrete and continuous methods.

Background: Golf courses are designed with uneven terrain. These factors are especially important when facing (slope), players need to straighten the posture of each part of the body in order to complete the swing on an inclined surface such as flat ground. Amateur players may be more likely to change the movement patterns of their shots due to uneven terrain.
