This two-sequence, three-period study (NCT04645940) was designed to evaluate the effect of food and concomitant rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, on the pharmacokinetics (PK) and safety of fruquintinib and its metabolite M11 after a single oral dose of fruquintinib 5 mg in healthy subjects. In the food effect treatment periods, 14 subjects were randomized in a 1:1 ratio utilizing a two-sequence (fed/fasted vs. fasted/fed), two-period, cross-over design.

The analysis of resilience indicators was based on daily milk yields recorded from 3347 lactations of 3080 Holstein cows located on 10 farms between 2022 and 2024. Six farms used an automatic milking system. A random regression function with a fourth-degree Legendre polynomial was used to predict the lactation curve.

We examined whether the glucose levels and awareness of individuals without diabetes changed after using a sensor-based intermittently scanned continuous glucose monitoring (isCGM) system in their daily lives. Japanese individuals without a diabetes diagnosis wore the isCGM system while maintaining a normal lifestyle during the baseline period. A certified diabetes educator coached them on how to improve their lifestyle based on information from sensor data, food journals, and body composition.

Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) can be measured directly, or estimated from biomarkers like serum creatinine and cystatin C, or both. Measuring GFR in children is cumbersome, as it requires the intravenous injection of an exogenous filtration marker like iohexol, and several blood samples to determine the concentration-time decay curve. Serum creatinine (SCr) measurement is inexpensive and is part of the routine biochemical blood tests that are commonly requested in daily clinical practice.
