Cytochemical measurements of blood neutrophil lysosomal cationic proteins were carried out in 23 coronary patients (angina pectoris, functional class II-III) and in 20 normal subjects at rest and after graded exercise (bicycle ergometry). The authors come to a conclusion that such measurements may be helpful in assessment of adaptive potential of the body in coronary patients.
