Fractures of the clavicle are frequent in children and mostly affect the middle third. On the other hand, traumatic fractures of both medial and lateral thirds of the clavicle are rare. The lesions have special characteristics: difficulty in diagnosis for the medial third; risk of callus formation in the absence of surgical reduction of the lateral third. The authors report two observations of fractures of the medial and lateral thirds of the clavicle; they insist on the value of investigation by CT scan.

Methods: This was a retrospective, observational study analyzing data from 557 patients with isolated blowout fractures of the orbital floor or medial orbital wall. Axial and quasi-sagittal CT images were analyzed to compare radiologic data on orbital wall morphology between fracture site groups and among age groups.

Purpose Of Review: This review aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the nonoperative management of Gartland Type II fractures in pediatric patients.
Recent Findings: Supracondylar humeral fractures (SCF) are one of the most common traumatic fractures in pediatric populations, characterized as transverse fractures at the distal humerus between the medial and lateral columns. Early studies strongly opposed closed reduction and casting as an acceptable treatment modality for Gartland type II fractures as an early case series showed high rates of complications; however, more recent studies have suggested better outcomes.

Purpose: To use a large nationwide administrative database to directly compare usage, complications, and need for revision stabilization surgery after medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction (MPLFR), tibial tubercle osteotomy (TTO), and combined MPFLR and TTO (MPFLRTTO).
Methods: The PearlDiver Mariner database was queried for all reported cases of MPLFR, TTO, and combined MPFLRTTO performed between 2010 and 2020 using Current Procedural Terminology codes. Subsets from those cohorts with laterality-specific , , codes for patellar instability were used to evaluate 2-year incidence of infection, stiffness, fracture, and revision stabilization with MPFLR and/or TTO.
